Waiting for Monday

Waiting for Monday

Honestly, for the first time in a long time I couldn't wait for Monday. The last two weeks have been so busy & double booked (friends visiting town, St Patrick's Day, events, work dinner, meetings, work, gym, catching up with fiends who I haven't seen in forever), that people had to remind me where I had to be where & when. Thank you so much for my dear friends who were my guardian angels. I like being busy but it just got too much, & Monday finally arrived where I don't have any plans for the rest of the week (well not until a Baby Shower on Sunday). I'm doing my best not to book myself in for anything. Let's see how that goes. I checked the photo library on my phone & found some awesome pictures, so this is what I got up to . . .

Jameson Festival for St Patrick's day at one of my favourite venues in Shanghai, Central Studios. Then drinks with some friends at The Cut Rooftop which is situated at the top of a huge mall which I was able to admire without any shoppers there & seeing the beauty of the interior.

Quality time spent with one of my besties was much needed inbetween the craziness.

A typical Chinese dinner at one of the restaurants. I'm just trying to show the size of these places, there were probably a few hundred tables in that ONE restaurant. Beautiful work dinner & I have finally made it to my first KTV after four years in Shanghai.

Showing off Shanghai to a visiting friend. Just a few to share here, but lots more to come soon!

I mean, looking back at the memories of the past two weeks, I had a blast & a lot of fun, but it's so nice to have no plans & just enjoy the usual routine, spend some time with yourself & chill if you can. Take it easy! How about you? Do you like having plans? Do they keep you motivated?
