I love a good hearty bowl of warm porridge when the temperatures outside are hanging on to zero degrees. In fact, I love it round the whole year! You can literally add anything you fancy or whatever you have left in your fridge or cupboards. I usually go for organic oats, any fruits that are in season or a bag of frozen fruits such as blueberries work just as well. I don't weigh or measure any of my food, so I'm not sure how much energy I'm consuming but I go by a small bowl as a good indication and it gets me through the morning (sometimes). Here's what's gone into this beautiful bowl of goodness:

  • organic oats
  • half soy milk/half water
  • strawberries
  • chia seeds
  • hemp seeds
  • pumpkin seeds
  • cinnamon powder

I add cinnamon, chia, hemp & pumpkin seeds to almost every meal I have. I mix water & soy milk as sometimes I find it too rich and heavy. But anything goes, do it your way! Love it!
